Montenegro Unitary state

Montenegro has been an independent state since 3 June 2006. It is bordered to the north-west by Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the north-east by Serbia, to the east by Kosovo, to the south-east by Albania, and to the south-west by the Adriatic Sea. It has a population of approximately 622,400.

Montenegro is a unitary state subdivided into municipalities (opština).
