Monaco Unitary state

Monaco (officially the Principality of Monaco) is a country in Western Europe. It consists of only one municipality (making it a city-state). Monaco is a semi-enclave within France. It has a population of 37,550 (2017).

The Principality of Monaco is divided into four traditional quarters: Monaco-Ville (“The Rock”), La Condamine, Monte-Carlo and Fontvieille.

Since 1966, Monaco has also been subdivided into scheduled districts and reserved sectors for town planning purposes.
